A single damaged panel looks like a cosmetic fix, but on a newer sectional door the panels are tied together at the stiles, and a hard enough hit can rack the whole section out of square. If that happens, the door can still look fine sitting closed but bind hard on the track the next time it rolls. We also see hinges pulled loose from the panel face where the steel has thinned from corrosion at the bottom section - normal for a cold-climate winter where road salt and slush sit against the door. One real limitation: if the dent is on a discontinued color or an older run of a panel style, we may not be able to match it exactly, even on a 1990s door, and a full new section or full door is sometimes the more honest answer than chasing a mismatched panel.
